Don’t wait to get your child the help he or she needs. Students learn to read in Kindergarten through 2nd grade. However, at 3rd grade students are expected to read to learn. If a student is a struggling reader, school will be difficult and he/she will lose confidence in their learning ability. The Learning Center has a reading program that is nationally recognized to assist struggling readers, whether the problem is Dyslexia or other learning phonetic difficulties. The Learning Center uses the Barton Reading & Spelling System, which helps children, teenagers, or adults who struggle with spelling, reading, and writing due to Dyslexia or another learning disability. Students can control the pace of the learning process. Our tutors teach each student individually, so they can spend as much time as the student needs to fully understand each level. You never have to worry that our tutors will move ahead or leave the student behind.

Our Subject Tutoring program here at The Learning Center isn’t just for students who have fallen behind in a class. It’s also for students who want to improve a “B” grade to an “A”, or even students who enjoy a subject so much they want to learn more. At The Learning Center we start with an in-depth academic evaluation that helps identify the areas causing a child trouble. We discuss the results and our recommendations with you and build an individualized tutoring program that focuses exactly where you child needs help. Our tutors work with your child individually, at his or her own pace, to master each skill before moving on to more difficult tasks and more advanced learning.
